Ton first started producing Chair No 14 in 1859 and since then more than 80 million units have been sold all over the world. The iconic shape of Ton Chair No. 14 is created by six manually bent beech rods, two bolts and ten screws. Thanks to its low weight, attractive price and legendary strength, this chair quickly found its place in the cafes of Vienna, earning the nickname the "café chair".

Ton Chair 14 is available in beech which can be stained various finishes including antique finish (classic or white) in any Pantone or Ral colours subject to surcharge. The seat itself can be in wood, cane or upholstered in various fabrics or leathers.
